CELEBRATED CANADA DAY 2016.

More than 200 members of the National Ethnic Press and Media Council of Canada, representing about 100 publications from 36 linguistic communities, on the occasion of Canada Day celebrated together the national holiday at the Cypriot Community Center of Toronto.
It was a very successful celebration as all the participants enjoyed the good food, the reach in flavors swine and international live music until midnight.
The members of the ethnic press and media expressed their good wishes and many thanks for the adapted country Canada.
Ten members although they register as attendees in advanced, unfortunately they failed to attend, an action very costly to organization, as we ordered food and wine based on the number of those who register with the administration. To this extend I am passing the names to the chair of disciplinary committee Dr.Tajdolati for their unprofessional behavior and I will ask the members of the committee to decide for their suspension of their privileges as members.
Taking this opportunity I want to extend my thanks to all the members attended this great event.

Thanks goes also to Maria Voutsinas for her hard work to organize such a great celebration.
